Welcome...

Join us in 2005 as we embark upon the 65th year that the National Fantasy Fan Federation (N3F) has been serving as a clearinghouse for fans of speculative fiction. When we were founded in 1941, science fiction was at a crossroads as new technologies were changing the face of fandom. That year a small group of science fiction fans started the National Fantasy Fan Federation to help other fans organize and honor the creators of speculative fiction.

Now, more than six decades later as we become increasingly embedded in the 21st century, speculative fiction fandom is once again at a crossroads of sorts. And once again the N3F is stepping forward to allow fans to help fellow fans (and all of fandom) find the best in speculative fiction in its many genres.

We are pleased to announce the inaugural National Fantasy Fan Federation Speculative Fiction Awards, called the Neffys (or N3FFYS if you speak l33t). To be announced over Memorial Day weekend in 2005, the Neffys will honor the broad spectrum of speculative fiction creativity. Find out how you can nominate and vote in the 2005 Neffy Awards!
